I started Stedy because running a home took five apps: one for meals, one for shopping, one for money, one for chores and a group chat to hold it together. None of them knew about the others.
Why Stedy exists
Stedy puts that loop in one place. Plan the week's dinners and the shopping list fills itself, sorted by aisle. Set this month's budget and see what is left. Share the chores, so nobody has to keep score.
It is a small product on purpose. There is no growth team and no investor clock, only a steady list of things to make better, which you can follow on the roadmap.
What I won't compromise on
Your data stays yours
Export everything as JSON whenever you like. Delete your account and it is gone for good after 30 days.
Calm by default
No streaks, no badges and no push notifications asking for your attention. Stedy should fade into the background.
Free, and honest about it
Stedy is free right now. No ads, no selling your data. If that ever changes, I will say so plainly and early.
